Sandy Steinman has nearly a half century of successful business experience. Much of that time as a small business turnaround expert. He began his business career with a Certified Public Accounting firm which ultimately merged into KPMG. He held several C level positions in finance and administration with both public and private corporations and in the mid 1970’s he joined Bonanza International, an operator and franchisor of steak houses as part of the turnaround team. Sandy and the team completed the turnaround in two years taking it from a multi-million dollar loss to a multimillion dollar profit. It was at that point in his life that he decided he wanted to make beans as opposed to counting them. He has owned and successfully operated several small companies in the transportation, service and food industries. He spent several years as Senior Consultant for a large national consulting company specializing in small and medium sized troubled businesses. He ultimately founded and became President of Profitability Partners, Inc. a Florida based consulting company specializing in the turnaround of small and medium sized businesses. In 2013 after seeing one of his clients fighting a negligent hiring lawsuit Sandy founded Background Checks Express, a background checking firm designed to provide accurate, accessible and affordable background checking for his clients.
